In line with our systems strengthening pillar, BACHI utilizes secure digital tools such as Kobo Collect and GIS-based mapping to manage community health data. We implement strict technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure of sensitive information.
4. Confidentiality and Third-Party Sharing
BACHI does not sell or rent personal information to third parties. We only share data when:
- Required for Medical Referrals: Transitioning patients from grassroots care to formal state judicial or health institutions (e.g., JRRH or the Uganda Police Force).
- Mandated by Law: Complying with the Non-Governmental Organizations Act, 2016 or other Ugandan legal requirements.
- Partner Reporting: Providing necessary performance data to grant-funding partners like USAID, UN-WOMEN, or the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
